LumiData Hires Wal-Mart Sales Specialist as Director of National Accounts

Minneapolis, MN — December 22, 2011 — LumiData, a demand intelligence specialist providing virtual remote and on-site demand analytics for consumer goods products (CPG) companies, has increased its presence in the Wal-Mart/CPG supplier community with the hiring of Gib Mitchell as Director of National Accounts in LumiData’s Bentonville, Arkansas location.

Mitchell has 13 years’ retail experience in category management, CPFR replenishment, buyer presentations, private label initiatives, supply chain management and Retail Link® analysis specific to Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club, as well as other key retailers including 7-Eleven and Eckerd Drug Stores.

Mitchell has served as Vice President of Sales at International Legwear Group, responsible for sales and category analysis, CPFR replenishment and buyer presentations to Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club.

He has also served as Wal-Mart National Account Manager for Belkin International, directly responsible for sales into two new categories in Wal-Mart during his term and growing overall Wal-Mart business by 28% and Sam’s Club Business by 31% in two quarters. As Sales and Replenishment Manager at WGM Inc., Mitchell secured first business at Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club for Lentek International, Susan Lucci Enterprises, Smack Apparel, and Norcross Marine Electronics. He has also served as Sales Analyst / National Account Manager with Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club for Haddad Apparel.
