New Director of Client Services Announced
LumiData, a demand intelligence specialist providing upstream and downstream retail information for consumer goods companies, announces the appointment of Scott Johnston as Director of Client Services.

He's an invaluable resource to our clients."
Continues Stafford, "As Director of Client Services Scott will focus on what our clients need from their data and how we can evolve our software solutions, such as SOLYS, to meet those demands. He will also work with clients to demonstrate the efficacy of getting the right data to the right people at the right time. Not just what data they need to look at, but how to use the data across downstream and upstream business functions to identify opportunities at all levels."
As Director of Client Services, Johnston will be responsible for researching new technologies that will improve LumiData software solutions and help clients positively impact their business. Johnston will also provide basic product and customer support, with his primary focus on exploration of LumiData applications to determine how the product can deliver greater value to clients throughout their organizations.
"Scott has extensive retail experience—he's served as a Business Analyst, SWAT Analyst and Merchandise Planning Manager. He's also worked extensively with retail suppliers. He can illustrate how retail data can be used throughout the retail suppliers' organization to plan, manage and control business profitability," adds Stafford. "With Scott's assistance, our clients will learn how to leverage POS data to make better business decisions. It's about being both tactical and strategic—sharing critical data with executives, account managers, team leaders, supply chain management and category managers to make business decisions that drive revenues and productivity."
Johnston has a B.A. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin. He has served as a Business Analyst for the Health and Beauty Division, SWAT Analyst for Merchandise Planning Operations, and Merchandise Planning Manager for Target Corporation.
